Christmas at the Chocolate Factory

We took Cameron to the Ethel M chocolate factory to see the lights at the cactus garden. They really go all out, and it is so beautiful to see! Cameron was not very enthusiastic about it, but I blame that on the fact that he had been very sick the night before. He was feeling a little better, but he was still very tired. So tired, that he fell asleep within 15 minutes after we got the gardens. Poor little guy! Of course, since he fell asleep, we opted to not take the tour through the factory, which I was really bummed about. Nevertheless, I think I got some great photos of the lights. Here are some of my favorites!

Fall Fun

Here in the warm south we are finally getting into Fall. It's colder and we've even had some rain. There are leaves everywhere, so we took Cameron out to play in them this morning. He had a blast! He kicked and tossed and rolled and jumped! So fun to be a kid! He wasn't too thrilled with them getting on his face, though.

Been too long!

Well, this is what happens when you move in with your in-laws who have a crappy old computer. Oh wait, let me back up. Here's the story:

Our old apartment management has been trying to kick us out for a while on a minor technicality that wasn't even our fault. Well, they finally succeeded, so back at the end of October we moved out of there, and in with Craig's parents. We were annoyed, but decided to think positively. That got a lot harder when I lost my job. Yup, fired. Can you believe it? After all the hard work I put in to that chapel, not to mention the MILLIONS of dollars I helped make for them, they just decided to let me go. It happened quite suddenly and unexpectedly. Not even a cake. Sad.

However, there is always a silver lining and we have been doing our best to find it. We have been planning to move up to Utah for a ling time, and now it is official. We spent a weekend searching for a place to live up there, and found a beautiful new apartment in North Salt Lake. We felt it was home from the moment we saw it:-) Craig also had an interview with Zion's Bank. It looks very promising! But even if that doesn't work out, we are certain that something will. As for me, I am working very hard towards opening up my own photography business. Very soon I am hoping to have my website up and running, a big step for me! In the meantime, I am enjoying the time I have to spend at home with Cameron and getting other projects done. You know, all those "if only I had time" projects. It's been great!

Here are a few photos to satisfy you visual needs, LOL

Cameron wanted to be Young Link from the Legend of Zelda video games for Halloween. By far the easiest costume I have made for him. It's really just a modified Peter Pan costume. But he really looked the part, and acted it, too, as you can see from this fun montage.

My Grandma Olive and Grandpa Gaylord have made their annual trip down here to Las Vegas. They come for rodeo. This will more than liekly be their last year here. Grandpa is turning 91 this December!
My Aunt Carol and Uncle Steve helped G&G make the trip down here. We had a nice dinner with all of them before S&C had to head back up to Idaho.
On Thanksgiving morning my father-in-law had the ultimate pleasure playing Ultimate Frisbee with his five sons. I was the lucky one who got tot document it all:-) Look at these fine men!

Here they are in the heat of the action.

And my poor husband after playing for only 30 minutes! He was really pooped. Time to exercise, Honey!
On the way back from the game I saw this cute little hummingbird and captured some great photos!
And finally, the cutest little boy in the world, all dressed up for his Christmas photos. Have you possibly ever seen a cuter smile than his? I think not!
